How can AI become a practical, everyday marketing tool for a small business? With OptionAI, I lead the development of a studio connecting brand identity, communication goals and content preparation. Developed through Option Web, the project brings together marketing strategy, product development and user experience.
My role: product conception and leadership, positioning, feature prioritisation, UX/UI direction and user journey testing.
Project status: an accessible work-in-progress version, with operational, tested features. Status as of 22 October 2026.
The need: turning generation into a coherent workflow
A small business needs more than additional text and images. It needs a recognisable identity, clear priorities and content it can actually use. I therefore organised the product around a shared workflow: brand, objective, campaign, creation, review, then export or distribution.
My role: translating needs into product decisions
I define the value proposition, user journeys and priorities. I decide what will simplify the user’s work, guide AI-assisted development and check the results in concrete scenarios. This combines marketing, copywriting, interface design, integrations and quality control.
Base44 provides the application foundation; Codex supports development and fixes. My role is to connect these technical capabilities to a clear experience and specific marketing uses.
The decisions shaping the studio
- Start with the brand: share context across social posts, advertising, emails and SEO content to maintain a consistent communication approach.
- Keep creative control: provide editable text and visual elements, with individual adjustments for each carousel or story page.
- Make the assistant context-aware: use the current page and campaign to explain, guide and prepare the next steps.
- Review before distribution: separate preparation, review and sending; select connected accounts and destinations before any real publication.
Automation: prepare, schedule and monitor
The studio prepares the transition from a brief to content organised by campaign. The assistant supports that work, while a routine engine allows tasks to be scheduled, monitored and stopped. Routine creation and cancellation have been verified.
Distribution channels connect through their APIs. Activation depends on the accounts connected and the permissions granted by each platform. Real end-to-end sending still requires validation for the relevant channels; it is separate from the exports already tested.
What already works
- Post, carousel and story editing: moving and resizing text and logos, adjusting individual pages and applying settings across all pages.
- Saved changes: adjustments persist after reloading in the tested journeys.
- PNG, ZIP and PDF exports: checked exports, with visual comparisons to verify consistency.
- A live conversational assistant: a real response was obtained in a test workspace.
- A deployed routine engine: verified creation and cancellation, with execution tracking.
What this project demonstrates
OptionAI demonstrates my ability to turn a marketing intention into a concrete product: define a promise, prioritise features, design user journeys and verify deliverables. The result at this stage is a functional, testable studio. Measuring adoption and practical benefits is the next step; no quantified gains are claimed without measurement.
